General Building

Steel installations are key to opening or extending a room in a home. This service must be done with precision and care by professionals.

Sub Floors

Older homes typically possess outdated subfloor i.e the joists under are either too narrow for what we pose on them or rotten often with no insulation to keep heat which keeps energy bills high

Carpentry

Our carpentry involves, installing new joists and ply in sub floors, stud wall, ceilings, door openings and platerboarding

Rendering

Interning and external rendering which involves newly built walls or hacking off existing to re-render. This also includes new products such as one-coat render and silicone render.

Ceilings

Old buildings typically have lathe and plaster covered in artex and are a nightmare to maintain. We would take down and dispose of the ceiling, get a carpenter to fix any

Interior Renovations

Renovations I consider to be more surface works. This stage follows after an extension has been bricked or blocked up and the roof is on for example. Of course you don’t need to have major works done to have internal renovating but if you needed wall paper stripped, rewiring and new plumbing your home would need some patching up.

Flooring

Flooring comes in many forms. You can just simply sand and varnish your existing floor or have a floorer lay a floating floor made from laminate, wood or lvt to name a few. These flooring solutions come in many colours, designs and styles such as masonry, staggered or herringbone for example.

Plastering

Plastering solutions such as backing plastering to skimming come into play at various stages at varying conditions. Plastering is a great way to make a whole house look like new. Plastering does not need newly built walls but stable surfaces that’s been well prepared for multi finish

Door Fitting and Locks

Changing doors and locks are a sure fire way to improve the interior of any space. Doors come in many styles and colours and some are cheap and cheerful.

In some cases you will need special doors for example: fire check doors, external doors and double doors. Some may require varying regulations which affect costs.

Tiling

We provide tiling services for bathrooms, kitchens and exteriors. Tiles like flooring come in many shapes and styles. Some tiles are cheap and some high end but regardless they need the same care and attention when installing

Trimmings, Covings

Trimmings such as skirting boards, architraves, beading, dado rails and picture rails are a great way to add extra detail to a boring room. Coverings come in many sizes and styles and can help uplift your new ceiling by adding the extra touch. Installing coving and trimmings are specialist jobs and should be treated as such. A pore install can throw the whole space out of balance and could cost more.

Plasterboarding

We replace old plasterboard or just install directly to newly built wall via mechanical fixing i.e screw to stud wall or dot and dabbed to block wall. Either way will leave a nice new wall to plaster

Finishing Works

It’s time to finish! Whether you’ve started the project from the ground up or just need some touch ups, finishing it where it all comes to ahead. All work done prior will be tested and having a good decorator/finisher could spell bliss or chaos at that crucial finish line.

Painting

Painting when done properly is a daunting task that should be undertaken by professionals. From maintaining a paint spill free environment to having a silky smooth wall that doesn’t peel off two weeks later is worth every penny. Our decorators make sure every crack and hole is filled and invisible and edges are smooth and slick while keeping your carpet and furniture free from splashes

Silicone

We provide silicone services for kitchens, bathrooms and other areas requested. Silicone is the first line of defence in your bath and shower area which unfortunately a lot of builders get wrong. Even the colours sometimes are just wrong ruining your new or existing space. Silicone is also applied around kitchen counter tops to seal against water damage. Another area we have been asked to apply silicone is around trimmings and floors to create an aesthetically pleasing crack free look around edges.

Picture frames, TV Mounts

We do small handyman services like installing picture frames, mirrors and large canvas. It may seem like a trivial job but there are rules such as keeping it true, square and plumb that must be followed for a perfect install.
Nowadays we have larger TVs and to keep it slick we get called to install wall mounted brackets to hook them on. This job can cost you dearly if not done by a specialist who can get that mount solid on any type of wall.

Kitchen Fitting

A kitchen is the heart of any home and has become one of our most popular services in 2022. We could get your vision set out right in front of you in just a few weeks as modern day kitchen fitting has been streamlined to save everyone time and money.

Bathroom Furniture

The little things like mounting toilet tissue hooks, and changing shower heads are also available. We create boxing to cover pipes, toilets and boilers. If you need your bath and face basin disposed and replaced we can offer that too
